Love First Denver was born out of a question: "What would the world look like if we loved God and each other first?" In all that we do the world would be a different place if we Love First.

 

This led to a movement created by opportunity born of the Holy Spirit, and now we're preparing to launch this movement in the heart of LoDo. We want to meet people, and follow Jesus together.  How? By loving them first. Not only will we connect, grow and learn how to follow Jesus, we will learn about God and his ever powerful presence of love in us and in the world. This leads to hope, transformation and a life filled with kingdom purpose. We have meaning - together!

So to answer the question - if we loved first - the world would be made whole again — one neighborhood, one conversation, one act of kindness at a time.

If we loved first, we’d assume the best instead of the worst. Conflict would slow down long enough for compassion to catch up. Mercy would move faster than judgment.

If we loved God, our focus would shift from success to faithfulness — we would see first His image in every person, recognizing beauty even in broken places, and caring for creation as something sacred.

​​

If we loved others, loneliness would shrink. Meals would become holy moments. Justice would no longer be a debate but a daily habit. People would discover grace not as an idea but as an experience.

To practice love first above all else is to live as though heaven is already breaking in — right here, in ordinary lives - in you and I - and together we are filled with extraordinary love.

 

If we truly loved first, we would live it out by living second. This becomes a personal philosophy formed out of our theology - and then put into action by the way we live in the real world, with real people. Simply in Love First.
